Donors always pay 0% fee.
The rest is your choice.
Kitafund Plus never adds a platform fee at the point of donation. How your institution covers the platform costs behind it is up to you — two models, same features.
Every point, side by side

Details, answered
Fees & billing
Are donors really charged 0% platform fee?
Yes. Kitafund Plus never adds a platform fee at the point of donation — on both plans. The only deduction from a donation is the payment gateway fee (card, e-wallet, or bank transfer processing), which is charged by payment providers, shown transparently in your dashboard, and never bundled into our numbers.
How exactly does the 10% work in the Circle Fund?
Your campaign target is raised by 10% — so a Rp 100.000.000 program runs as a Rp 110.000.000 campaign. That extra 10% covers platform costs. Donors pay exactly what they choose; nothing extra is added to their gift. Every campaign page displays the split live — 100% to the program, 10% to the Circle Fund — so it's never hidden in fine print.
What does the Foundation Plan invoice include?
One predictable bill covering your platform costs for the period — itemized so your finance team can book it cleanly. It is completely separate from donation flows: no deduction from your campaign target, nothing held back from donations.
Can we switch between plans later?
Yes. Switching takes effect at your next campaign boundary — you're never locked mid-campaign. Institutions often start on the Circle Fund and move to the Foundation Plan once fundraising tools become a standing budget line.
Disbursement process
How and when do we receive the funds?
Donations are disbursed monthly, by bank transfer to your institution's account. Every disbursement comes with a report itemizing gross donations, gateway fees, and (on the Circle Fund) the 10% platform share.
Are donations disbursed gross or net?
Net of payment gateway fees, which are charged by the payment providers themselves. Your disbursement report shows gross donations, gateway fees, and the final transferred amount as separate line items — nothing is deducted silently.
Do you hold or commingle our donations?
No. Donation funds are tracked per campaign and per institution, and disbursed to your account on the agreed schedule. On the Foundation Plan, 100% of donations flow straight through — platform costs are billed separately and never touch donation funds. On the Circle Fund, only the known 10% share is retained, and it's itemized on every report.
How are refunds handled?
Refund requests are reviewed and approved by your institution from the dashboard, keeping you in control of your donor relationships. Once approved, the refund is processed back to the donor's payment method; gateway fees on refunded transactions may not be recoverable from the provider.
Platform & data
Who owns the donor data?
Your institution does — always. Every donor record, donation history, and recurring mandate belongs to you, with full export available from the dashboard at any time. Moving platforms never means losing your donors.
Can fees or policies change on short notice?
No. Your fee structure — the 10% share or the invoice model — is fixed in your contract for its term. Changes happen only by mutual agreement, with notice. That's the difference between owning your platform and renting space on someone else's.
Getting started
How long until we can launch?
Typically two to four weeks: consultation to map your goals and campaigns, design and configuration of your web platform, then launch with dashboard training for your team before the first campaign runs.
Do we need a technical team?
No. You don't need an expensive tech team or dozens of digital marketers. We build, configure, and maintain the platform; your team runs campaigns from the dashboard, and ongoing ad content and reporting support keeps each appeal improving.
